Church ministries involve service to others — other members of our congregation, as well as local, national and global missions. We are small, but active in the Lord’s service.
At various times, we have shared our facility with
- A Chinese-speaking Methodist congregation,
- The Creative Living Center
- Drug rehabilitation programs
- The Korean Methodist Fellowship
- The Mission Peak Unitarian Universalists, and
- The Classic Math School.
We are actively involved with local, national, and international projects to assist those in need.
- Twice a year we host the City of Fremont’s Safe Parking program for a month.
- In support of Abode Services, we have cooked dinner and still provide backpacks for children at their homeless shelter. We supported the Rapid Rehousing program by providing all the needed dollars, furniture and supplies for one local homeless family each year to move into an apartment.
- We assemble health and school kits for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) to be sent wherever needed
- In Haiti, we have supported the Haiti Hot Lunch Program for school children, and Partners in Health.
- Locally, we provide programs for local convalescent hospitals, and collect food for Tri-City Volunteers.
Most of all, we strive to do God’s will here in this growing community.
