The Second Saturday Documentary Series is presented by Niles Discovery Church. Each month a different documentary film is shown.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to gather together to view and discuss this month’s documentary. We will watch the film together via Zoom with a discussion immediately following.

If you never have (or if you just want to make sure you are), click: bit.ly/SSDSZoom and register for the Zoom screening and discussion of the movie. Once you have registered, you will receive an email confirming your registration and your unique link to join the meeting. Save that email.

Step 2: On Saturday, March 11, around 1:25, click the link in your email to join the viewing and discussion.

February’s Film: The Boys Who Said NO!

See the first film to profile the young men and women who actively opposed the military draft in order to end the Vietnam War.

The Boys Who Said NO! shows how their personal and collective acts of nonviolent resistance, risking arrest and imprisonment for up to 5 years, were a critical part of the antiwar movement, intensifying opposition to the war and eventually forcing an end to both conscription and the war.
