Children in Kindergarten through eighth-grade, join together during worship services for activities, Bible lessons, stories, and fellowship. A team of teachers bring the word of God to them through the Grow, Proclaim, Serve curriculum. The first Sunday of each month, all children join the worship service to participate in communion.

The youngest members of the church family will find loving care in the church nursery during the worship hour.

Jr. High and High School Youth meet regularly on Friday nights at 7 pm in a joint meeting with youth from St. Paul UMC.   They explore, study, serve, reach-out, and grow in their Christian faith during this time. This is also a time to share with their peers and build a foundation for their lives.

All are welcome!

Adult Small Groups

Small group meetings are safe and welcoming places to ask questions, explore ideas and differences, to share faith stories and experiences of God, and to learn together.   Get connected to God and get acquainted with each other in a small group!

A  group forms when people want to read or study a particular book or part of the bible together, to pursue a topic we want to know more about, to explore and practice a spiritual discipline, or to watch and discuss a video series.  Group meeting times and locations are usually determined by consensus among the participants.

Small groups fulfill one of our goals under Intentional Faith Development, one of the five practices of a fruitful congregation.

Here are some small group topics explored recently:

  • The Way of Discernment from the Companions in Christ series. A study of the spiritual practice of discernment. Spring 2012.
  •  40-Day Journey with Howard Thurman
  •  Prophets of the Hebrew Testament

There will be two studies during Lent 2014:

  • Bible Study with Pastor William
  • Listen-Praying in a Noisy World
